The rich history of the Blues begins back in the days of the “race records” – the famed and rare 78’s that highlight so many vinyl/audiophile auctions. Then came the era of the 45 – small regional companies that recorded the local talent and were responsible for the discovery of dozens of important figures of the Blues. Some of these small labels became major players, and some exist even to this day.
