Talk about a fun email to get – I grew up in the 80’s and loved a bunch of the rock bands of the time, but I never figured I would be doing design and illustration work for Phil Collen – the guitar player from Def Leppard! Phil and his wife contacted me about their blues project, Delta Deep – needing a cover design for a live release. I was happy to oblige, turning out a nice, rustic folk art look. The band was great to work with – they let me do my thing, and after a few conversations I got a good idea of what feeling they wanted. Here is the final project.
