What one of my customers had to say:
“I have 4 of your paintings here at my studio, and I plan on collecting many more – always loved your art. I still cannot believe you do all this stuff yourself… figured it was a company! Kudos Grego – I’ll be back for more soon” Glenn J. – LA
Joe Strummer (1952–2002) was a British singer, songwriter, and guitarist best known as the passionate frontman of The Clash, one of the most influential punk rock bands in history. Born John Graham Mellor in Ankara, Turkey, Strummer became the political and creative heart of The Clash, fusing punk with reggae, ska, rockabilly, and funk on landmark albums like London Calling and Sandinista!. His anthems—“London Calling,” “Clampdown,” “Rock the Casbah,” and “Should I Stay or Should I Go”—channeled rebellion, social justice, and global awareness. After The Clash, Strummer formed The Mescaleros, continuing to explore diverse sounds and world music influences. Known for his fiery spirit, humanity, and commitment to truth through art, Joe Strummer remains a symbol of authenticity and resistance—his influence still echoing through punk, rock, and protest music today.
