Lightnin Hopkins Blues folk art painting – vintage wood sailboat rudder
This Lightnin Hopkins Folkart painting is 43 inches by 1o inches, Acrylic on a wood sailboat rudder, ready to hang. Hand painted by Grego Anderson, sole proprietor of Mojohand.
I have always kept this on the ground between 2 guitars as shown – it has a small base, but needs to slightly lean against the wall for stablility – however it could easily be attached to a wide base and be free standing… my folks ran across this wooden rudder years ago at an auction in Michigan and brought it to me in Texas… it appears in the Lightnin Hopkins documentary called ” when lightnin strikes” – for more questions or pics, just email me on the bottom of this page
