Formed in 1989, the Texas Tornados brought together four legendary Texas musicians—Flaco Jiménez (accordion), Doug Sahm (vocals, guitar), Freddy Fender (vocals, guitar), and Augie Meyers (keyboard, vocals)—to create a high-energy blend of Tex-Mex, country, rock, and blues.
